Sure hope no mods post a "No More 'club' threads" sticky. Because that would imply that "club" threads are somehow pointless and a waste of space. Which is not the case at all.

Yes, the "club" threads are getting tiresome. This is different than "pointless", but it's still annoying. If you don't want a sticky, find other words than "club" to use in your title...and you must feel this is coming, or you wouldn't have mentioned it.

I've had my chrome P-32 since 2000. It is my always gun and BUG. Had a great P-11 that I had to sell a couple years ago. I'm waiting to see if the bugs will get worked out of the PF-9 soon. If so, I'll probably get one.

Another "Club." Kel Tecs? Yeaaahh. Lessee - - I have three. Well, WE have. Beloved spouse kinda claimed the P11 and P32 for her own but kindly allowed me to maintain custody of my .380.

And the other "clubs?" I have an M1A, and a Glock, and more'n one 1911. Heck, I even have an Airweight J-frame snub, though not a 642. Strangely, perhaps, I've had all of those for some time. Didn't obtain a single one in order to "join a club." Perhaps I should feel smug and vindicated that so many other members have jumped onto the bandwagon with ME. Or mebbe I just like firearms, and that's plenty of justification for me.

Is there an AR15 Club? Maybe I should start a .375 H&H club. Or, better still, a .35 Whelen club, dedicated to "the poor man's magnum rifle."

Naw, I don't think so. I reckon I'll just be satisfied with having and using the good guns I own, and with knowing there are dozens of other worthy examples I'd LIKE to have. I'll prolly never actually own most of 'em, but the dream's near as good as the having.

Owning any gun is never completely pointless. (At least, that's what I tell my friends. ) It makes a good close quarters weapon, for defending you home.
