Ran a quick 100 on my Loadmaster today (only my 4th session reloading). First time I had absolutely no problems! (at least until I try them out!) My other sessions were no fault of Lee's though, mostly my setup/learning curve issues. 5.4-5.5 gns of Win231 with Hornady 230 FMJ RN with CCI primers, range brass (washed and tumbled).

The Load-Master really works nicely, once the setup is done.

So, how long did it take for your 100 rounds?

Are you using a 4-die or 5-die configuration?

Did you use the case feeder? bullet feeder?

I went through a full check, powder throw, OAL, crimp, etc., probably about 45-minutes all told. No speed records! I'm using the case feeder w/ collator, and the 5-die setup. Also got the micrometer powder feed thingy. MUCH nicer then playing with the disks, etc.

Congratulations, I still have not had an error free progressive session, my best one so far had 2 times when the case feeder fed two cases into station 1 on the 650. I think what happens is the first case doesn't completely go into station one so when the shellholder turns it stays or gets pushed back on the slide part and then a second case tries to feed on the next cycle. I'm not 100% sure why that happens, think I need to do another tear down of the press, make sure everything is nice and smooth and well lubed. Other than that I am at a loss as to why it would be happening.
