I'm moving into a house, and decided it was time to get a safe.
(I also roughly added up the purchase value of my collection, and that forced me to realize that keeping my various guns in range bags and rifle cases "hidden" in the closet was Just Plain Stupid.)
Anyways, found a killer deal on a very good safe. I'm paranoid, so I backed the UHaul up to the garage, and rolled the safe out on a dolly directly into the garage, still in it's packaging, which was extremely discrete, I might add. Once in the house, I unpacked it and got it into my Gun Room, which was prepared with shades already drawn. Did I mention paranoid? Better safe than sorry, I say, and the less the neighbors see of my possesions, the better...
I sure feel a lot better with my guns locked up inside that big black box! Only I can get to them now. Plus my camera equipment is in it, which is also a peace of mind issue.
