I bought a Husky mechanics cart from Home Depot as a cleaning/repair surface.

I put four swivel casters on it so it’ll move in any direction rather than just the two that come with it. I grabbed some plastic bins at Target to store cleaning stuff, patches and tools in the drawers, and two larger ones for extra handgun and rifle magazines. I don’t have a ton of room in my garage work space, so I have to have stuff on shelves or movable.

Now if I could just get the kids’ motorcycles and quad out of my work area, ill be thrilled.

Looks good. Nicely done.

How tall is that cart, in inches?
Sorry about the delay, I didn’t see your post. It’s about 39 inches to the top of the cart.

I added all the rest of my gun stuff to the bottom of the cart, it holds my armorers box, punches, solvents, case trimmer, plastic bins of pistol magazines, etc. This thing has freed up a couple of shelves, best thing I’ve bought for the garage in a while :)

I also got a stiff foam gun rack with a magnet on the back off Amazon. I can now stand long guns up safely while waiting to be cleaned.

After a trip to the range with a box full of revolvers it sometimes feels like I do ...

When my daughter outgrew her little quad and we got her a bigger one it takes up half the work space in my garage. I had to shrink down and make more shelf space, and make other things mobile, so I can still use my benches and also maneuver stuff around.

The Husky cart was on sale, it was a bit under hundred bucks more than the Harbor Freight cart. The only reason I didn’t do a Harbor Freight cart is this one had the hardwood work top already on it. The finish on the wooden top has been great so far for cleaning and minor gunsmithing, no issues with it at all.

Stay safe.

Yeah, my Harbor Freight cart ("US*General") didn't come with a wooden top (which looks very nice and practical, I have to say), but it looks almost identical to your Husky unit otherwise. I paid $99.99 for it five years ago and have found it to be very useful for the purpose I bought it. Finally, all of my gun cleaning, maintenance and tool supplies under one roof!
To add: my cart came with four swivel casters for each leg.
