Same revolver (about) with after market grips in Calif was/is $900~1200. In pristine condition it would be $1800 out here, still w/o box. Pythons in the Kollective are scary expensive, but they ain't going down in price. It's a permanent bubble - take advantage if you have one to sell from your Calif residence (wink).

Thanks for all the reassurance everyone, I knew it was a deal not to pass up.

I took the gun out to the range today and put 100 rounds of .38 through it. It's a keeper! Amazingly accurate gun and a joy to shoot, my friend tried it and his response after shooting it was "I want one".
