Latest SOG catalog has them for $120. A 1224 round case of ammo goes for$130. One thing to bear in mind, don't dry fire this gun, as the firing pin is cast and prone to break. Milled pins are available, and a worthwhile investment, as this gun is alot of fun to plink with.
And don't trust the decocker. surplusrifle.com has a disassembly guide and a way to test the decocker. But it's best to just not use it while the gun is loaded.
You may want to buy a spare firing pin or two. I know J&G has some although I'm not sure if it is the hardened steel one.
It's a common misconception that the C&R saves you money. You get one and pretty soon it's "I have to buy this now, or else it might go up in price," or "if I buy two, I save on shipping," or "well, I really only need ONE kidney."
