Took my PX4 and PX4sc to the gun shop where purchased to have Trijicons installed shortly after Christmas and the gunsmith scratched the slides on both during installation. The shop returned both guns to Beretta for refinishing of the slides on Jan 10. I got the subcompact back yesterday and it looks as if it is new. The PX4, however, is still at Beretta for refinishing which is expected to take another three weeks. LGS picked up the charge for refinishing along with the labor for installation, and discounted the price of the sights. So, other than the inconvenience, I am satisfied with their treatment, but if I want night sights in the future I will buy them factory installed because I know of no gunsmith I trust in Central Florida.

Sounds like good people to deal with. Everybody makes mistakes, and it is how they correct their mistakes that they should be judged.

I think you are right about buying factory night sights, I've been looking at getting night sights installed on my XD and I'm looking at $130-140 for sights + installation.

I agree with paying the extra to get night sites from the factory. When I bought my PX4 they had 2 in the store, 1 with the super laminove sites and 1 with trijicons. The price difference was $40 and it was the best $40 I ever spent. (Not to mention I got 3 mags instead of 2)
