Can't say I have seen one quite that collapsed before. Did you chamfer/deburr the inside of the case mouths? I am a big believer in a light deburr/chamfer inside and out on the case mouth.

Great pics by the way. :)
It was the first bullet I did, I think I had the crimp low, and seat to high.

When I adjusted everything, I thought I could run it through the die again to set the bullet lower, instead it collapsed the case.

After that I did a few others and ran them in the die more than once to get to the correct seat depth, and had no issues but I had the crimp backed off as I wasn't crimping it unless needed.

I could not figure out why you have a vacuum attachment to your press, and almost inquired. But, Google and your Dillon part number gave up the answer.

My knee-jerk thought was some fancy contraption to hold a bullet in place while seating. lol

Very nice setup and I admire you taking the time and effort to do it right. I'm a power plug freak and love how you wallpapered with them. I mean, in any hobby room, you can never have enough power receptacles, or CAT5, lighting, etc..

Update:

Went to the range today with my 1st set of reloads and they did excellent! Out performed factory ammo I normally shoot.

5 shot group, 100 yards, 55gr sp hornady 21.6 of h335 COL of 2.200, out of an ar15 I just finished building 16" 1:9 barrel.
