The family got me a Center Point 6-20 X 50 scope for my 30.06. 100 yards today, I had a Simmons 4x12x40 on the rifle. I have to admit the C.P isn't a bad scope. For what it is. After i was done zeroing it. I worked on the long range gongs. And cranked up the magnification. It was clear. I did some zeroing at 50 yards the other day. Today was tweaking it. Light loads. With Accura outdoors 120 grain spire-point plated bullets 16 grains of green dot powder. EST 2000 FPS. I'll chrono them later.

Looks like you’ and the ‘06 will both be ready for opening day .

I put a Center Point on my CZ 455 Lux. It’s been a good little scope on my rifle :).

Happy Birthday… and many more to you! ;) (I’m also a late august baby.)

Stay safe.

Happy birthday and congratulations on the new rifle/scope combo. i had a Remington 700 in 30-06 a few years back with a center point scope when they first showed up, great combo and they handled the 30-06 very well, never lost zero. The current owner still uses the same scope and it’s going strong.
