I just got a killer deal on a wichita break open 7mm international pistol in mint condition; gun and dies only 250!
Can anyone help with tips of fire forming 30-30 for 7mm?
thanks

I owned a Contender in 7 Int Rim in the 1980s, I just lubed new .30-30 cases with Imperial Sizing Wax and ran them into the 7IR seating die. Then re-lubed and into the FL sizing die they went. I don’t recall losing many cases, if any. I never tried it without the seating die, but it was probably superfulous.

Thanks, i was kinda leading that way too, just load them light the first time. But, i need to know what light is,lol. Anyone have any load data?

thanks, ill look up some loads for waters a bump it down a little and then work up from there. But since i am only punching paper and gongs, I'll probably load light for every day shooting. I do the same with my BFR 45-70. When i run full power thru it the finger guard splits my finger open, lol
