This may be old news to some but may benefit others; I recently purchased a new handgun. I got to looking at credit card offers on the Credit Karma website. I qualified for a card that offered a $150 (one time) signing bonus on a purchase of $500+ in the first 90 days AND 15 months of free money (no finance charge). I applied for this card, was approved and purchased the handgun.
I purchased the handgun at a fairly decent price (I don’t mind sharing the numbers); $1.350 + $30 shipping (transfer was $20 at my FFL, I paid that in cash).
So my first posting charge on the CC is $1,380 - I then got the $150 credit - now $1,230 - I then received another $20 cash back credit for the handgun purchase - new balance now $1,210. Now I have 15 months to pay off the new handgun and pay $0 interest. This CC company paid me very well to purchase this handgun - what a great Country!
