Firearm(s) you have...but don't like?

Accu-tek .380:barf: Bought it about 8 years ago 'cause it was cheap. My hands are average sized but the gun is still too small. Every time the slide cycles, the slide hits my lower thumb knuckle, and the safety hits my upper thumb knuckle. I've actually got two scars on my right hand from it. Once I relocate to TN I'm picking up another 1911 along with my TN carry permit.

I had a Model 302 (SS) back in the late 1970's. My son & I put thousands of rounds through it. The only issue was it would begin to malfunction after a 100 rounds or so depending on ammo brand. The problem was solved by keeping it clean! I wish I still had it! :(

I have a Walther P22 that I'm not thrilled with, I just keep it around to have a pistol that is cheap to practice with. It isn't all that reliable, has some issues that should have been solved before it was allowed to leave the factory, and the grip is very small for my hands - but I can't find anyone that will trade me for a Mark III or a Buckmark. :( Pm me if you're interested!
 
I have a 1909 Argentine Mauser Engineer Carbine.

It is a beautiful gun, and I have just never warmed up to it.

Other rifles get shot, but this one sits at home.
 
herbert schmidt .22 revolver i payed way too much for it 150 dollars and it has the fun feature of the empties jamming up the gun after 6 rounds so i have to take the cylinder out and then clear it every time sometimes it dosent even make it that far if held at a slightly upward angle when shooting ejecting empties or otherwise moveing the cylinder the cartridiges back out and get stuck on in the loading port.
 
Man,I've never owned one that I didn't like at all,but there's been some that I liked better than others. Those on the bottom got sold.

I take that back. I do not like the Sig DAK triggers. Traded the DAK 226 for a standard DA/SA 226.
 
It's not that I don't like my Marlin 60 anymore, but it's basically third string now behind the 39A and my (daughter's) trusty 81TS. So it sees pretty much zero time outside the cabinet at this point.
 
Dunno why I would buy a guy I don't absolutely love.

Generally I feel the same way, but it seems to me you can't always know you're going to love it until you shoot it. Now, in reading these boards its often quite clear to me that I don't have the kind of spendable money as alot of posters here seem to have. The notion put forth by the original poster here of, "how many Sig and HK pistols I own...that I really don't like" .. well, ever having that thought is well beyond my means. I can't afford 1 single HK or Sig, let alone own them in excess. I have about 20 guns, but just about all of them were in the 300-500 range or below (some significantly below/inherited/etc.).

My point though, is that even though I have been extremely choosy on what I've bought within that range and have only bought guns with very specific needs/wants in mind , some of them just didn't work out.
To answer the posed question here I'd have to say a .44mag Ruger Super Blackhawk 5-1/2". Really gorgeous and well built gun, but it just doesn't do as much for me personally as I thought it would, so I've been trying to sell it for something I'd like better. Surprisingly though, even for a great deal, I've had no takers as of yet and it's been up for sale for awhile. It's really frustrating that I can't seem get rid of the thing, but I cant afford to buy something else till I do.
 
I've sold away everything that lost its novelty or just didn't feel right. The path to Zen inner peace travels through a dark, menacing forest of unwanted impulse buys and "guns of the month".

I too have gotten rid of anything i dont like - there's been a few but not many - I didn't like my beretta 96 DOA - not because beretta's are bad - just because i could never get used to that trigger - had another 96 with a regular trigger and i could actually hit the target with it - wasn't a big fan of my HK P200SK - felt top heavy and unbalanced to me - But i love the full size P2000 and carry it pretty much everywhere - Other then that I have liked most all of my guns - even the ones i parted with - Im trying to sell some smith M&P's now and sadly i kinda like them - The only gun I now own that I really dont like is actually my wifes gun - its a stainless Sig 232 .380acp - its sure an easy gun to carry but i hate to shoot it - it tears my hand up everytime i try to fire it (i have huge meaty paws that get in the way of the slide) i finally got permission to sell it the other day - think im gonna have to look into a Kahr or something similar for -- for the wife of course.
 
I like most of my guns for the purpose I bought them, but there are many I bought because they were cool looking and this one does what that one doesn't, and wound up disappointed.

I bought a matt chrome DE 44 mag. It was very, very accurate, but impractical....like carrying a fire extinguisher.

I had a Tanfoglio CZ clone in 45 with a compensator, but it was like carrying an anvil.

I had a stainless USP 40, but I could not group with it.

I had an HK P7 M13, but it was heavy, hard to clean, and it rattled leaving people asking "what's that noise?"

I had a G-17, but it was a jammamatic.

I had 3 N frame smiths, but I couldn't get the sights straight.

Why on earth would I buy a firearm I wasn't totally sure I would enjoy?:p

Of course I have firearms I like more than others, but I just went through all of my guns that I own and tried to pick out a "least favorite" and couldn't.

Thats one of the many beauty's of firearms...My M-44 only set me back ~$70.00, and it is just as much fun to shoot as my ~$1,000 AR 15(if not more).:)

That's the tricky part. I've only bought firearms I thought I would enjoy but for some reason or another it hasn't worked out that way.

Don't get me wrong - I'm not complaining...I consider this one of those "good" problems to have :D.

Several AR-15s. Or as better known around here: legally registered assault weapons.

I'm not much of a semiauto guy, and I can't stand the "boing". The only reason I keep them is that it seems to annoy California politicians.

Come to think of it, that's why I should take them out and use them at public ranges, too.
 
I bought a PT-92 for my first firearm, it's not that I don't like it at all, I just don't shoot it that often. It doesn't fit my hands well, I need to get something smaller when I get back
 
My Kahr PM40. Very unreliable. To the point that I don't even like carrying it. Because it's the perfect pocket gun for the summertime. Other than the fact that it's unreliable.
