Guess I shouldn't have voted.

I started collecting guns in 1965 and what they had then, I still like and now they aren't around anymore.

Geezer problem.

When I was a little kid my favorite water pistol was a Colt 1911A1. It was clear and made of plastic.

When I grew up, I got a Colt 1991A1 and now that's my favoritist handgun.:D

Yep, used to be heavily into polymer semi-autos with super-duper finishes (Glock, H&K). Now I'm more into more traditonal semi-autos that are steel and blue-finished (CZs, Hi-Powers, and 1911s).

I used to be into Glocks a lot... immortal, and they give you plenty of capacity.

Now, i'm in love with SIG Sauer pistols. More comfortable, more accurate, not nearly as ugly, much nicer trigger on average, and they still give you enough shots to get the job done.
I also used to have a serious thing for 1911s, but now i'm not really interested unless they're in 10mm auto :)

After an infatuation with class 3 for a few short years I rediscovered the joys of precision instead of hosing. Among others, I don't regret for a minute I found someone who was wanting my Uzi more than I did...

Almost everything now is a bolt action with the exception of the AR and Garand. As far as handguns go, the pistols vastly outnumber the revolvers, which is how it has been from the start.

I don't shoot my RWS 45 as much, though, but that may change if that starling keeps roosting over my truck.

Regards,
Rabbit.
