Fired Casing and Pistol Price

I am looking at purchasing a pistol from sportingarms.com. I noticed that they have the pistol listed twice, one with a FC at the end. I assume that is "Fired Casing". The one with FC is significantly cheaper. I just want to make sure that I order the right one and since they do not have pictures, I can't tell if there are any other differences. Why would one with a fired casing be $40 cheaper? I have emailed them, but they don't open until 11 am their time and I am impatient.

if "fired casing" may be a no-no to our more paranoid buyers. but may mean "frame cracked". ask an see what the answer is. jwr

It does stand for fired case. I just went through the same thing with sporting arms. All the guns they have are model numbers and codes so you have to do your homework on the exact gun you want. I thik they told me some states or places require a fired case with the gun.

Yeah, I ordered a Colt Defender with the fired casing for $788 and without the fired casing it was $820. I was just wondering if there were any drawbacks to having the fired casing. Also, would anyone else be interested in firing it for $32 a round?
