I would like to know if anyone here can tell me how, or where I can find out how to replace the fireing pin in my stevens 87E 22 rifle? It's not a high dollar gun but until the fireing pin broke it shot straighter than any rifle I have ever owned. It's like it was made just for me and that is why I'm trying to repair it myself. 1: There are only 2 gunsmiths within a 70 mile range (one way)and one of them I know nothing about and the other is a total jerk plus he took over 6 months to replace a fireing pin in my uncles 30-06 and 2nd is the price they would charge to fix my rifle (over $90 on my uncles 30-06) would be more than it's worth. Any help would be nice. Thank you for your help....

I cross checked numbers, and Numrich lists the 87E and the 187E as having the same firing pin, but not in stock.

Bob's gun parts may have it but it's $25, and you have to contact them to verify.

Wisner's shows a firing pin for a 187E with their part # as 87E-77 and is likely the one that you want, and it's $17.50

I would think that you should be able to get the right FP for your rifle with the links provided.
