Well 2 months ago I bought a nickel Firestar M40 .40sw cal. First time out to the range after the first shot it would extract. I left it at the range since they have a gunsmith. 6 weeks later they hadn't looked at it due to his health. My LGS that I bought it from said they'd look at it and help me out with. I finally got it back from the range. Took the slide off, looks like the extractor doesn't have much of a hook left. Looks like nickel extractors are impossible to get now. Anyone know where to get one or another fix for this?

The correct name for the "nickel" finish is Starvel. That might help you when trying to locate parts with a matching finish.

And if nickle can't be found, go for blue. "Two tone" color scheme. Extractors for the Friestar 9mm will prob. work, as well.
According to jacks parts the hole for the pin is bigger and will need to be drilled to fit.
