I am curious as to how some of you clean...and possibly lightly lubricate, the firing pins and channels on your revolvers. How I would to accomplish this on my Taurus 850 without taking anything apart? I don't like the idea of leaving those areas prone to carbon buildup and rust, but at the same time I'd rather not fool around with taking side plates off, etc...

Thanks in advance for any suggestions

Mike

Revolvers require VERY little lubrication. You are more likely to have problems from gunk accumulating in the lubricant than with carbon fouling. I never lube the firing pins or channels on my revolvers. I have never had rust problems, and I've never had fouling problems even though most of my shooting is done with reloads made with Unique, a great powder, but filthy.
