First AR and 50 Beowulf

I am bidding on the Beowulf on Gunbroker.. feeling kinda dumb for not doing buy it now before someone else bid.

If I don't win, i'm thinking of getting a lower seperately and building. There are a few Colt Match lowers on gunbroker, are these considered to be good quality? They are more expensive than DPMS or Rock River, but I tend to think of Colt as a premium brand. Worth it?

I can't tell you how many times I've done the same thing ... 5 hours to go and you're still the winning bid at $805 so maybe you'll get lucky

Any recommendations on sights for this? I'm thinking a red dot scope would be good. Any recommendations on brands to look for or avoid?
