Happens even here in Hawaii, tho at least on Molokai its really difficult to "modernize" the population lol.

We live in NY so our children will know their extended family. I used to think I'd like to move, but there are no guarantees. Look what's happening to Colorado as CA libs move out of the paradise they've created. As Troy stated, nearly all of the state outside of NYC and a couple of urban cores (Buffalo, Rochester) are fairly conservative, but the population of NYC dominates the voting. Residents of Illinois are in the same boat.
