It has been brought tragically to my attention that our children in their schools are not as safe as we would like to believe, nor are any of us as safe as we thought in public areas such as shopping malls, parks, etc.
Recent tragedies in these types of places might have been lessened or prevented if responsible people had been permitted to have firearms of some kind available.
What the media has been calling "gun-free zones" seem to be all too frequently targeted by people wanting to senselessly kill others.
Please do whatever it takes to remove these gun free zones and make us and our children safer.
