Well it took me two weeks into the new year to find a couple to bring home.
1st one’s going in the John Browning design collection. 1940 Colt Vest Pocket Pistol in 25ACP that came with a nice Bianchi holster in case I’m not wearing a vest. Thinking about slipping it into a box of chocolates & making it a Valentines Day gift. I’m not sure I can even shoot this & not get bit.

Second one’s going going in the 32ACP collection (now up to five) 1954 Star SI in 7.65/32Auto
Came with original box, 2nd magazine, & a nice flap holster. I especially like the swirls on the grip-they don’t make ‘em like this anymore.

<<Guilty....
I have been reading and researching and lusting for a new carry gun. I wanted the convenience of my lcp and the firepower of my sr9c. I have always said that if I find a better ccw than the sr9c , I would buy it.
I doubt that it is any better....but I bought a Hellcat. It is smaller than my sr9c, and I like the way it looks.
I bought the 12rd and 15rd mags to go with it. I may get a couple more 12s when I pick the gun up. (3 day waiting period:cuss:)

Pics to follow.

I love the little Colt Vest Pocket. Looks like somebody sawed the barrel and grip off a 1903. I imagine it might be difficult to grip, can you get more than 1-1/2 fingers on the grip below the trigger guard? Not to worry about getting bit, the .25 is pretty tame.

2022 started off with a bang for me (pun intended), I've picked up three since NYD, a S&W .45 Colt revolver, a Browning Hi Power in .40 S&W, and a RIA 1911 in .38 Super.

here is my first 2022 purchase, 32 auto Ortgees, made in germany in the early 1920`s, great engineering, no screws used. goal is to find it in .25 and .380. don`t know what the 2 notches on the grip mean. these are in the $300-400 range, but one special one is coming up for auction, est is $60,000. It has a gold inlay and Eva Braun is etched in, Hitler gave it to her. it ortgees 002.JPG has normal wear from being carried in the bottom of her purse.

I know and you know what those notches are on that WW2 gun!

I put a Smith and Wesson SD 40 on layaway this past Saturday. Never had a full size, striker fired handgun before nor my own .40 S&W. I read the reviews about the trigger; I tried it in the store and it seemed just like the Glock 42 my wife now carries so, why not? ;)
