Took the Colt Frontier Scout for it's first outing this evening. I have to say, I couldn't be more pleased. I shot some groups at ten yards and was generally satisfied, so I shot some targets at 25 yards using a 6 o'clock hold as I anticipated the gun shooting high. A few groups from 3-1/2" to 5"; nothing to write home about. So I decided, 'OK, knuckle down, Pearce. Last group, make it a good one!'

So I concentrated on the fundamentals- focus on the front sight, breath, squeeze the trigger...

Holy Crap! I couldn't believe it when I reeled the target in. Yes, it's a 3-3/4" group... but four of the shots went into 1-1/4"!

Yeah, I like this little Colt.

My wife has one but in the blued frame. She loves it and believe it or not even with the buckhorn rear sight she is very accurate with it. When we put the 22 mag cylinder in it is still awesome!
Her father gave it to he before he passed away and she packs that handgun with her whenever she goes into the woods.
