first successful hunt gift idea

my 14 year old nephew got his first deer with a rifle. i have the two spent 30.06 rounds that were uses but no real picture of the hunt. any xmas gift ideas using the shells? i see that people make pens with 30.06 cases but the skills are probably beyond me. any ideas?

Figure out a way to put the cases on a key chain. He will be driving before long...every time he starts the car, he will remember his uncle and the hunt.

Not related to the shell casing but does he have a knife of his own? A good hunting/skinning knife can last a lifetime and it will bring fond memories every time he reaches for it.

Be careful with that pen or key chain idea. Depending on where he goes to school it may bring in the SWAT team and the bomb squad.

Sad, but some schools REALLY overreact about that kind of stuff.
