In Florida this week on business. Contacted a fellow member FL-NC for a beer invite. We had dinner and a few last night. As I was telling my wife, what a nice guy he is. Enjoyed myself. We have good members here. He is an avid hunter and shooter.

The bar keep said, how long you know him, I said we just met. She said it seems you’ve known him since forever. The reason unknown to her was military (both of us are vets) and guns. Makes a good fraternity.

Yup, I agree 100%. About the vet thing and FL-NC, though I haven't meet him FTF.
The fellow members I have met personally have all been great folks, and I hope to meet more as I am able.

I was talking to my son about that on the way home from the airport. Veterans sometimes can meet another veteran and engage in friendly conversation quickly. I met Daniel Craig and had him over the house to show him some reloading. I also met Gunny in Louisiana just before a hurricane stuck. Good people.

I have been able to meet a few of the members here in Kansas over the years.
RC Model was the first and we'd get together once in a while at his place. I have coffee with Sniper66 about once a month and went squirrel hunting with ChuckR last season. Good folks all.
