My FL non-resident permit expires in May, so I stopped by the police station today to get fingerprinted again. (The officer who did the printing kept eyeballing me like I was some kind of nut).
As I was waiting for the officer, I was reading the renewal instructions for the seventh time, and a question came to mind: why do non-residents need to pay for and submit a new fingerprint card every five years, and FL residents do not? It's not like fingerprints change.
