In support of the American people and the laws of the United States and in protest against the blatant betrayal by our politicians, let's join together June 14th so that our voices may be heard as this country comes to a grinding halt ! If possible and it does not endanger your job security, do not go to work, do not shop or even buy gas! We are a citizenry of 283 million, and the illegal aliens are but 12 million, yet our politicians have bent over backwards to accommodate them at the expense of we, the American taxpayer.

This national walk-out is not a protest rally in the streets or one of banner waving, it is a show of strength, real strength. The negative economic impact made on Corporate America and the message to our government that we will not stand for the Senate's proposed policies on illegal immigration and border security are the focus of our efforts. Corporate America has favored employment of low-wage illegal aliens over the legal residents and citizens of this country. Our politicians have been deaf to the voices of their constituents, yet heed the demands of citizens of foreign nations. They are arrogantly dismissive to our faxes, e-mails and phone calls. And are committed to continuing with their traitorous "sell out as usual" policies while we foot the bill.

The illegal aliens and their supporters had their day of marches, choosing May Day, a Socialist celebration of labor. We have chosen June 14th, Flag Day, our national holiday honoring the United State's first flag and the birth of this country's Army, as a symbol of unity toward our efforts to return power to the citizens of this country.

Many companies are interested in showing their patriotism by lending their support to our efforts. We hope all employers will honor those employees wishing to participate in this unified show of strength. Our collective voices need to be heard by our representatives and our power to affect our governing restored.

I'm in!

I'd rather have a Shoot-Out and a nice meal afterwards. I got a few new guns that need to be broken-in, and sighted-in and I haven't taken the Class 3's out for a while.

The ranges could always use the business.

Sorry. In my case and the cases of many others, our rights to protest and petition have been curtailed due to the fact that if we all randomly took a day off at the same time we probably wouldn't have jobs to go back to the next day.

On the basis of the idea I support this. On execution, well, I like my paycheck.

Sad really

I did just this a few years back. Some first-line sup got the bright idea that Flag Day should be used to "celibrate diversity" and sent out an e-mail requesting everyone bring in the flag of "thier country of origin" and we will have a big feel-good potluck and honor all the flags.

I pitched a fit and told my boss I would not come in that day if this offending tripe continued. Any other day fine, but not Flag Day. My boss talked to HR and they called the whole thing off. A few of us proudly displayed our US flags and we didn't see one flag from anywhere else. Made me feel good. I have even had a promotion and raise since then.

Walk out and refuse to be productive?

Sorry, but that is what THEY do, not US. In the words of a bumper sticker I saw: Annoy a Liberal, Work hard and be Happy

If you want to protest, do it at the polling place with your vote.

Let me see if I get this straight.

I can punish congress by docking myself a day of pay and my employer a day of work?

Where did I put that piece of two by four? I need to hit myself in the head with it. If I do it enough, maybe everything will get better.
