I Am Enraged

A short essay, by an American Citizen, on:
his opinion of illegal aliens, legal immigrants,
U.S. Citizens, border crossings and, being enraged.

I am enraged. There is no exclamation point after that brief three word sentence, I mean it seriously. I do not need to highlight my feelings with any hype, even as trivial as an exclamation point. This is not the usual sort of rage into which I can all too often fly such as when another driver flips me the bird as he cuts me off while in terrible rush hour traffic and makes me explode like an erupting volcano. It is not the type of steaming almost helpless rage, when I am not able to erupt for fear of losing my job, as when a boss with less practical job experience than a rookie chews me out for doing something right. It is not the sort of rage, like molten lava as it silently runs down the mountainside on its path of destruction from the otherwise seemingly dormant and lush volcano, that I experience when I realize that my employer, the U.S. Government has shortchanged my pay by over $700 with no good explanation and no sign they are willing to correct their error. Nor is it the type of enraged protectiveness of a parent with a child as when one of my kids gives me a face full of 'they know better than me' when all I was trying was to assure they grow up to become healthy, educated, responsible and, respectful law abiding members of society.

No this rage is different. This rage is one that will have me writing to my elected representatives in the House, in the Senate and, all the way up to the President of the United States. It is a rage that will determine how I vote in the future. It is a rage that will shape how I view my government for years to come. It is the rage of an American Citizen who has had enough of the political bull chip tossing at the expense of the citizenry and, at the expense of the United States of America herself. Yesterday I heard, in the news, that the United States of America will, by the year 2008, require all of its citizens to show proof of citizenship when returning across the borders from Canada and Mexico. According to quoted politicians, this will be a major method by which to combat terrorism because it will make it more difficult for terrorists to cross our borders from Canada and Mexico. Are you mad yet? If not, why not? You too should be enraged! (Whoops there it is, that dreaded exclamation point.)

Do you realize that not all that long ago, while running for reelection, the president of the United States (a guy for whom I voted), as well as his opponents, told the American public that they were all in favor of either some sort of amnesty or reprieve for all illegal aliens from Mexico. Note I did not say illegal immigrants. I said illegal aliens instead of illegal immigrants because the term immigrant implies that someone has actually come into our country legally with the intention of staying here and adapting to our customs, our values, our morals, our laws and our way of life. Did you just see that, I said to “our laws’. So, if someone’s first act upon entering the United States is an illegal one, the fact that someone actually entered illegally, then how would or could anyone, of decent character and morality, ever consider that person an immigrant? No they are illegal and they are alien. They should be removed from our land as swiftly as possible as we would remove any parasitic vermin from our homes. Instead of removing them, our president proposed that we allow them all to have amnesty so they could all remain in our country to earn a living. I wonder, why is it they cannot earn a living in their own country? I also wonder why anyone would, even for a moment, believe their presence here will benefit our country when their presence in their own country has done little to nothing to benefit their own homeland! Why is it their own president is so eager to have them come to the United States. Why don’t they improve they do some nation building in their own nation? Most likely it is simply because they are incapable of doing so – just as they will be incapable of improving the United States of America. Yet our president, in one of his greatest unabashed political blunders has welcomed them to the United States as hard working and poor souls. Therefore, hundreds of thousands, if not millions of aliens from Mexico may be allowed to remain in the United States after having entered without presenting legal documents of any kind, let alone a valid U.S. passport. Yet, now we citizens of this great republic will be required by law to provide proof of U.S. citizenship in order to enter our own land from the very same country south of the border from which came all those illegals who may soon be granted amnesty. I certainly hope you are as enraged as I am.

So what does this amount to? It amounts to a mockery of all United States Citizens and of all the legal immigrants within our borders and, of all those who have remained in Mexico hoping to someday come here legally. Why you ask? Because illegal alien Mexican citizens will have more rights within the United States of America than do American Citizens or legal immigrants. They will have been allowed to break the law while the rest of us have been more burdened by it. It amounts to a mockery of the criminal justice system. Why? Because it amounts to a mockery of the Immigration and Nationality Act and, it amounts to a mockery of the Congress whose members legislated those laws, and of the president who signed them into law and most of all; it amounts to a mockery of every Federal, State and Local Law Enforcement Officer and every member of the U.S. Military who ever jeopardized (or lost) his or her own life in order to protect the sovereignty of this great nation. Why? Because without sovereign borders there can be no sovereign nation.

Sure it is a great thing to require everyone to present proof of citizenship when they enter the United States of America. The sad thing, the outrageous thing, is that United States Citizens and legal immigrants will be compelled to do so while those who have already snubbed their legally dirty noses at our laws will continue to violate the same. They will benefit from their own lack of respect for the law. They will benefit from our own politicians’ lack of respect for those same laws, and from their lack of respect for those who enforce the laws, and for their lack of respect for those whom the law protects (you and me). So I say, wake up citizens of and, legal resident immigrants within, the United States of America – the time has come for us to realize that the time is right for a major change in our way of doing business in protecting our nation’s sovereignty and, protecting our way of life. Our dreams, the American Dream needs to be saved.

Just as the illegal aliens dare to illegally cross our borders, will you now dare to become outraged and cross borders? Will you dare to cross political lines, to cross racial and ethnic lines, to cross the boundaries of religions, to cross the sexual divide, to join together in one voice? Do you all dare to speak out in one voice telling the politicians in Washington, D.C and in the rest of our nation to wake up, to think, to be logical, to forget about politics for a little while, to care only about the welfare of our country and her people and, to stop the flow of illegal aliens who are trampling our borders, our laws, rights and our dreams as law abiding United States Citizens and legal immigrants.

A nation without borders cannot be a nation united, nor even can it be a nation divided, because ere long it only can be a nation trampled under foot of its invaders. You can then rest assured our conquerors will enforce the new borders that they have formed and, they will do it at your expense. Wake up, take action, take back the United States of America.

Write to your elected officials, demand that they protect the borders of our nation and, demand that they rid us of the plague of illegal aliens who have infested our great land.

Best reagrds,
Glen B

Remind me again how this relates to 2A? (And not in that "seven degrees of Kevin Bacon" sort of way.)

Remind me again how this relates to 2A?

In my opinion it does because if the borders continue to go unchecked
you and I will lose the fight in our battle to own and use firearms.

As population goes up and especially with under educated people we
will continue to lose freedom, the dumbing down of America is now. :cuss:

Get informed on issues affecting the right to keep and bear arms and other civil rights.
Psyopspec,

There is nothing that limits this forum to second amendment rights discussions, is there? The quote above - from the header for this particular forum - suggests this forum may be used to discuss any issue that would effect our civil rights. Then again (and I hope this is none to Kevin Bacon for you whomever he may be) it would not be too much of a stretch to imagine that this will effect your right to keep and bear arms. Think of it, the regular Mexican citizen has no such legal right in Mexico - do they? Even if it possibly is afforded to them under Mexican law, they do not regularly keep firearms because their government represses such rights. So when Mexican illegals outnumber citizens in the USA, whom do you think will control politics. Do you think they will want to uphold or squash your right to keep and bear arms? Look to their country for hints and look too to the United Nations.

Our politicians are already bending over backwards to kiss their behinds now while we still (the citizens) greatly outnumber them. They are writing laws based upon how many illegals are in the country now, and those laws are favorable not to the legal immigrants or US Citizens but to the illegal aliens. There will be more than a ripple effect, it will be a smashing blow to our republic as we know it if we allow the tide of scum to keep flowing into our country basically unabated because our politicians are little more than wimps who take any opportunity to garner votes for themselves.

Be well advised too, it is not only a problem coming in from Mexico. We are being over run by those from Muslim and Arabic countries too, the so called Countries of Special Interest in government circles. They can cross from Mexico just as easily as any Mexican. Will they need s passport to enter out borders illegally. I would think not. Am I getting warmer with second amendment connections?

If you have not enough vision to look at the now, then look to the past, then figure how this all may effect us in the future based on past experience. If you cannot see how the erosion of some of our rights, or how legal restrictions being placed upon law abiding citizens as opposed to being effected aginst criminals, has led and will lead to others being eroded or restricted, well you may already be lost. Don't we have enough unnecessary restrictions placed upon our right to keep and bear arms, and don't we have less and less sanctions against criminals who use firearms, so that you can see the the analogy.

Then again, as I pointed out above, my essay did not need to be related to the second amendment at all, but brother you can bet it is. Go to Kim Du Toit's web page http://www.kimdutoit.com/ee/ and read the four articles to which he links in his 7:00 AM blog for today April 8. With what we already have in our country, that which has hit france cannot be too far in our own future - we have more of the scum of the earth than they do for sure and lots of that scum flowed easily across our southern border. To the French all I can say is: To arms, to arms, the enemy is within your gates! One of those stories (about the French problem especially) may just explain how my essay has something to do with 2nd Amendment Rights. I will not be one of those helpless citizens when the illegal scum in this country attempt an upheaval. So I fight back now as best I can legally by contacting my elected officials but, I also prepare (under my second amendment rights) for the day when the SHTF - because as I see it, it is not to far in the future.

Best regards,
Glenn B

Glenn Bartley, aren't you supposed to be an LEO or something? I find it frightening that someone in any position remotely like that would offer those characterizations of people, as "scum", "vermin" "parasitic" "invaders" who "plague" our country. Similar characterizations of others in other countries and others times did not produce the highest and best that humanity has to offer.

Rabbi,
My advice to you, Glenn, is to start drinking heavily
Advice considered but not taken. Instead I'll keep writing my letters to my elected officials, I'll keep donating to organizations that support our second amendment rights and to those who support Immiration law reform, and I'll stock up on what I need for a real SHTF day.

All the best,
Glenn B

Remember I am not talking about religious groups, or entire nationalities of people, or ethnic groups as a whole. I am talking about people whose first act in a country is to violate that country's laws! I am talking abut criminals. - andf not those for whom we just wrote a law to criminalize them, but they who broke some of long standing laws of our country that apply to legal immigrants and citizens. Even after the act of illegal entry many of those illegals keep on violating the laws and sucking the system dry. I see examples of this everyday in my job. I am not at liberty to diccuss individual cases but they are rampant.S o yes they are scum as I see them, and I slso see them as parasitic, invaders and so on.

I am a federal LEO, but yes I to am a United States Citizen and, I am entitled to all the rights under our constitution. That includes a right to free speech. Anyone who regularly violates again and again the laws of our nation is scum as far as I see it. Anyone who illegally enters our country, then illegally obtains a driver's license, then illegally drives a car, then illegally gets a job, is scum as I see it. You see in a melting pot, the scum rises to the top. (Anonymous as far as I am aware, but a very smart person must have thought up that one). That is just what is happening today.

If you do not see the problem of illegals as being parasitic then you are missing a lot. Read the articles to which I just referred you that are linked to on Kim Du Toits page. Read the one about what Texans pay for illegal immigrants and tell me that is not parasitic!

Look to the NICE PEOPLE who illegally entered our borders from overseas where they lived in oppressive conditions, who then illegally got driver's licenses and other forms of identification, who then illegally got jobs in our country, who then got training in our country, who then flew some planes into some buildings in Washington, DC, in NYC, and into the ground in PA. Some entered the US across the Mexican border. Another one attempted not too long ago to enter across the Canadian border with hundreds of pounds of explosives, and he was scum too. Yes they are unmitigated vermin and invaders. Maybe they are of a more serious nature than illegals from Mexico, but they from Mexico are a serious threat to our well being nonetheless. They too are invaders. They, the illegals, the ones who enter our country criminally, are the scum of the earth as I see them.

Then again, if you would like to just talk Mexicans, how about them staying in Mexico and improving it. No they come here, get illegal health care, illegal licenses, cause accidents wherein they are not insured and others suffer, take away social security benefits by way of fraud, and so on. They also they take away jobs that would be taken by LEGAL IMMIGRANTS. The jobs they take away should be forced onto people on welfare. Then many of them go back to Mexico and spend their money down there. Wake up for your own sake. Again, I am not talking about a race, a nationality or an ethnic group, I am talking about the largest group of criminals in the United States of America, the illegal aliens from Mexico who entered this country illegally or who remaine din this country illegally after having first entered legally. I am talking about criminals - plain and simple and, criminals are scum.

As for my federal employment, I have never, not once, had any type of complaint against me because of any sort of allegation of bad treatment against prisoners or others or for any violation of anyone’s rights. I am quite fair minded with anyone with whom I deal whether or not they are illegal or not. I offer everyone the same treatment under the law. Again this does not preclude me from having my own personal opinion about they who, as their first act of coming into our nation, break the law. Nor does it preclude me from attempting to have the laws changed to prevent illegal crossings of our borders by aliens. They are invaders, and yes they are often the scum of the earth. Heck their own countries are trying to get rid of them just look at what the president of Mexico has to say about illegals coming to the US from Mexico. Then again look to the past and to Cuba. The Marielitos were, in my opinion, the dregs of Cuban society..

You should not be frightened of me, I have been protecting your rights as a US Citizen, or as a legal alien, or as an ilelgal alien for over 25 years with no problems. You should be afraid of those who are taking away your rights. Illegals should not have the same or more rights than should a citizen or legal alien. If you do not see that - I suggest you are the one who is truly frightening.

Best regards,
GlennB

good essay.

what disdains me is the hypocrisy displayed by some. we villify LEO for not caring enough about illegal immigrants. than it appears like some of us villify LEO when they do show how much they care.
:uhoh: :scrutiny:

Here is a 2A and gun rights connection (parallel):

Criminal uses gun to illegally kill people ----> govt enacts new laws to harass law-abiding gun owners.

Aliens enter the USA illegally ----> govt enacts new laws to harass law-abiding travelers.

Seems that it is always such with our noble govt .... :(

OTOH ... regarding the characterization of illegal aliens, I have in the past personally known people who fled political persecution (probable death and certain imprisonment) in their home country but who were for some bizarre reason denied visas to live in the US. These were folks of financial means who were, by all appearances, honorable, self-sufficient, and law-abiding except for their illegal presence in the USA. I sure as heck wasn't going to say a word about it :p
