Flakes of tumbler media stuck to inside of case

However, dryer sheets will strip out any rouge from treated media. They just aren't necessary, since the typical tumbler is covered. I no longer tumble dirty brass, so there is nothing detrimental for the sheets to remove. I have a separate batch of gummed up media I use for loaded lead rounds, when necessary. I rarely have to buy media since starting to do a pre-wash with a sonic cleaner, i.e. I only tumble clean, dry brass (still with spent primer).

I use 2/3 lizard litter & 1/3 lyman walnut with the red rouge
looks great & the red does not show on the cases
sometimes i toss in a little car polish---let it run 10 mi before adding cases

I'm going to take a guess that the cases that have media stuck inside, also have a tarlike substance ring around the inside top portion that the media is stuck too?

If so, that's sealant. The cases in question are nato spec which, in my little time reloading, I have figured out a great way to deal with it.

I toss 'em in the recycle bucket. 9mm is to easy to find on the ground to be worried about dealing with the crap. The one I see this most with is that zqi wally world stuff.
