on firequest they sell "flame thrower shells" for 12 gauge. it says it shoots a wall of flame 250 feet. have any of you shot that stuff? now, is it a wall? or a stream of flame?

Kind of pointless to use a shotgun for a flamethrower. Bad for barrels if you think about it, and onely really useful if you want to do a drive by arson, start your hibachi, set off bad powder, or dehair a dead pig at butchering time.

My uncle had 3 of these once. They were visually unimpressive. Kinda like shooting a firework...in no way a stream of flame like a flamethrower. A photo of one of these gives the wrong impression because of the exposure time.

They are probably worth the price once...just to get it out of your system so you don't wonder about 'em anymore!;)

+1. If you live in a place where fireworks are illegael but it is OK to shot a shotgun on your own property, a few of these might be worthwhile (maybe a few bird bomds too.) But real fireworks are cheeper and look/sound better.
