I say a 12 gauge pump,loaded with low brass OO buck shot.
A Sig P220 .45 for back-up.
A flame-thrower wouldn't be so bad either.....?

What would you use ?
.223,9mm....?

Suppressed high-capacity .22 rimfire with folding stock and lots of extra magazines. Oh yeah, and high-ground wouldn't hurt.

Proper zombie stopper??? I would go w/ that shotgun & slugs and for back up, 45acp should be fine ;)

lol, thats not even enough of a question to give a good answer.:rolleyes:

any good zombie gun question IMO should include the following in order to form an opinion and give an answer:)

What kind of zombies,{we talking old school undead IE schuffle around moanin alot grouping in semi-large and large masses?? 28days/weeks later/dawn of the dead remake type super zombies??} urban or rural,are you in some kind of squad or group or an official army on one, whats your mission,{assault, some kind of rescue/pick up/reup/or are you just plain ol buggin out??}

Read the Zombie Survival Guide by Max Brooks, that will give you all the information that you need.

as much as I hate to admit it, a few good .22s would be much more usefull than a shotgun or any other gun for that matter (well besides a minigun I suppose). the round is easy to place, fast shooting, low recoil, and you can carry a butt load. its high enough power to go through a rotting zombie's skull. if picking from big boy guns I'd have to say an AR and a high cap 9mm. lots of rounds because all you can really go for are head shots. the stopping power of the .45 doesn't matter in such a case, its all about getting through as many skulls as possible

Maybe an AK 47,

because you've GOT to have the world's most reliable gun when you've got a horde of mindless and very hungry Zombies rushing you !:eek: A Glock 9MM for back-up wouldn't be a bad idea also.:D
Fast moveing or slow-as-molassess,a Zombie is still a Zombie !:p

This thread doesn't even belong in handguns, does it?

I second the suppressed .22lr or maybe .17hmr idea. The thing about .22lr though is, although it's maybe just my gun, in semi-auto it's not uber reliable.

2nd choice for rifle would be my 7.62 AK-GPWASR. Handgun, doesn't really matter as long as it's accurate enough and has a hi-cap magazine.
