So Im in the process of finalizing my permit package and I came across something thats got me stumped. It pertains to fingerprinting. In the book that comes with your package it clearly states

"Fingerprints submitted on a card not provided by the Florida Department of State, Division of Licensing will not be accepted"

When I was home on leave in Tucson I had my fingerprints done and I didnt have the Florida Dept of State card since I left it in Korea. Now, should I take the chance and send that one in or should I use thiers and try to get it done here in Korea. Dont know for sure if they do it here. I would assume they do. Gonna have to call and see.

Im less than 90 days out from getting back to the U.S. and plan on traveling to several states to visit my family. Quite a few of the states honor Floridas CCW permit and I wanted it waiting for me back at home in Tucson.

Have any of you that live outside of Florida and have a permit from Florida used another fingerprint card instead of the one they provided?

Obviously Im gonna call tomorrow to see if they fingerprint here, but if they dont should I roll the dice so to speak?

Imputs please.

Use the cards they gave you. Their major concern is that the fingerprints are clear, not really where they were taken. There's got to be some MP or CID type station on base that can do them.
