I am considering an FN 5.7 for home and range work. Has anyone had any experience with it?

and is it plastic or metal?

Or some of the "clone gnomes" could be persuaded to make a close knock-off (pistol) in above calibers (at a more reasonable price tag..... I bet it would sell well).
BTW I handled a buddy's 5-Seven at the range a week ago (didn't shoot it because I was on my way out as he came in). Very light and it fit in my long fingered mits, I have a CZ-52 with the Hogue slip-on grip that fits me very well and also is in the Brady Bunch's sights.
