Anyone hear any more info on the rumor of the FN P90 being released as a civilian version? I saw a pic of it, and unfortunately it had a much longer barrel to make it legal. But, any info on a release date? Or it the whole thing scrapped?

Should be out this fall according to FN when I talked w/ them.

The PN90 "civie" and the FS2000 "civie". I have some of each on order :)

It is a 16in barrel to make it legal. Register it as an SBR, cut it down and you'll be close to the real thing.

My local dealer told me yesterday that they have them on order, they even have the 50 round mags on the shelf for them. Hopefully someone comes up with a cheaper source of ammo before the release, since it jumped up to like 50 bucks a box now that FN stopped importing the civvy legal stuff

I want one. But I have always avoided rifles in the past. I am left eye dominant and right handed. This has pretty much eliminated traditional rifles for me.

The sights on this gun are a little higher. But, the triple rail version of the P90 doesn't seem to be available to non law enforcement. That would be cool because any scope or sighting device would be even higher off the frame of the gun.

Jeeez! Sixteen hundred bucks? Does that include that nifty optical thing that goes on top, or is that bare-bones standard? I still want one (it's about the coolest thing ever), but man, that's steep for 'just' a .223 autoloader (you could get two RRA TASC rifles like my brother has for that kind of dough).
