Does anyone think FNH will get into the concealed carry market with compact and/or sub compact autos?

Considering that they have a global market, and globally, concealed carry is limited to LE/military, I don't really see FN getting into that game. Especially since they haven't gotten into it already.

What does everyone else think?

I like my FNs so much, I was thinking a sub-compact FNX9ish gun would be awesome.
But then....I'd have to to sell my Ruger LC9 and I don't want to do that... ;)

Supposedly, they are working on it. A while back on FNforum one of the posters is an FN employee who let the cat out of the bag so to speak, some Johnny Do Gooder on the site who was also an employee called him out on it and low and behold they removed the post.

In summary, they are working on single stack, he said think similar to the slim Taurus buy an FN quality. Striker fired. Also, was mention of subcompact FNP/FNX. Lastly, a few posts regarding a G19 sized .45. They also have a new FNS striker fired FNX basically. Time will tell, but I think it is coming.

Recently, alot has changed. It is now a pain in the ass to deal with them on the phone. Apparently, they are now under the "Browning" customer service division.

That's interesting. How long ago was that post.

I'm a member on the forum, but I hardly have enough time for THR as it is right now.

I don't currently own a FN pistol, but I'd like to. I've got a few other niches to fill before I get another auto though. I like to keep up on FN's products and noticed for a while that they were a little lacking in the CCW market.

My FNP-45 USG came with a 14-round mag. I think the 14-rounder is supposed to make it easier to conceal.

It's still a little bigger than my BHP.

My wife has an FNP9M and it's a really nice gun. I'm hoping they will decide to make a compact of the FNX series.
