$3300 is an official MSRP on the SCAR-H? I didn't know that was released.
That wouldn't surprise me if it is true. If the SCAR-H were to come out today, it would really be the first of its kind. There is no .308 XCR out yet (though it would be less than that), and no .308 ACR on the horizon as far as I know. The closest thing existing in the market today is probably the LW REPR, and it is around $3300 I think.
If you are set on wanting a next gen .308 carbine for "cheap", your best bet is to wait on the .308 XCR... as an XCR owner, I would expect to see it somewhere in the low to mid $2k's range. A grand less than the SCAR sounds about right if the light models are any indication.
