Fobus holster for SA XD45?

I test-fitted a paddle holster on a store model 4"-bbl. XD45, but it didn't fit. The pistol has been on the market for a while so I'm surprised Fobus doesn't seem to offer one or change their specification to "XD9/40/45."

Should I have tried adjusting the tension screw, or does this gun just not fit the other calibers' holster?

Be glad it didn't fit, and look for another holster.

I have a Galco holster that I prefer, this is for the specific purpose of being able to remove the holster easily, as well.

Anyway, I answered my own question, the adjusting screw just needed to be backed out. The Fobus labeled "XD9/40/357/HS2000" works just fine with the 45.

The Fobus for XD9 Works--Adjust Screw

I do use my XD-9 Fobus holster for my XD-45 ACP. I simply adjusted the tension screw and it has worked great! But, the XD-45 ACP comes as a package which includes a nice holster. You didn't like it?

I did not like the holster at all. It's too small, so gravity pulls the handle of the gun away from the body. My Galco holds the gun nice and tight to my side. The mag loader, though, is great. I forgot to take it for the gun's first day at the range, and after 300 rds. my thumbs weren't too happy.
