Fobus doesn't make one of their formed holsters for the Colt Mustang :cuss: and I haven't been able to find any manufacturer that makes such a comfortable rig like it. Love it for my Glock 23 but sometimes ya just need something a little smaller.

Does anyone know of a fobus-like holster for the Mustang? Thanks in advance.

You may need to go custom. Contact Blade-Tech, they'll probably already have a form ready and can get you a pretty fast turnaround.

I actually had one made for a Mustang (Plus II, not that it matters), and was surprised to find that it just didn't work. There was nothing wrong with the holster- It was Blade Tech's standard: excellent quality.

The problem was that because the slide is so short and the gun so light, the holster kept popping out from inside my waistband. I tried cinching my belt down, shifting the position...nothing worked. After walking 20 steps, the thing was popping out. I went back to just slipping the Mustang into the back pocket of my jeans.

I still have the thing around here somewhere. If you really want to give it a try, I'll sell it to you for $25. PM me your address.

I've used an Uncle Mike's IWB model for a number of years and its worked okay for me. I think it's for a smaller sized gun, like a .25. but the Mustang fits in there nice and snug. I know it's tough finding holsters for some non-mainstream guns; you might want to try another Kydex maker to see if they can give you a better fit.
