I am the happy owner of a new USP 45f. This is one exceptional .45. If you have not tried one, you will ask yourself why people are so crazy about the 1911 pistols. The USP .45 is perfectly reliable and extremely accurate. USPs run correctly out of the box.

I need a kydex paddle holster and am having problems finding one made specifically for the USP .45f. The only manufacturer I have found so far is Blade-Tech. They want $59 for one while a Fobus costs about $20 or less for the same material. I called Fobus, and they said the USP 9/40 full size holster will not work for the .45. Arrrrrrgh!!!!!

Does anyone know of options for such a holster? I'd like something light and simple made out of synthetic material due to the weather here.

Thank you in advance.

Follow-up

I downloaded the Sarafiland PDF file that has a fit chart on it. I found two holsters that were very nice quality; the 560 and the 5182. Anyone familiar with these? Might these be better than kydex anyway?

I want something that is going to last and protect the finish on my USP.

Also, the model SF 57338321 single mag holder and cuff holder is made for the USP .45. (work related)

Try the G-Code holster at gunners alley. I have on for my taurus and it is great...my HK 40 rides in fobus kydex, which you unfortunately cannot get for your .45

I have the g-code for mine also .. fobus told me there holster would fit the fullsize 45 in a email to then still got the g code liked it better

Don't make the mistake thinking the Fobus and the Blade-tech are the same. One is injection molded the other is formed to the gun. Fobus, is usually more pliable than a blade-tech and trust me you can feel a world of difference in the two.
Several other companies make kydex holsters, but all the quality ones are are around the same price as the blade tech.
you've already droped 500 on a gun, might as well drop fifty on a holster.
