We through the NRA and others who supported the letter writing and email campaign ,Should write a follow up letter thanking the representatives who stood with us on this critical vote, and assuring them that we will "not forget", come election time.
And also include to the others that we sure won't forget those who tried and failed to compromise our rights and freedoms.
Also that we know there will be more fights ahead and that we throw our weight behind all of the brave men and women who listened and did the right thing for the Country.

A few bucks for some postcards and a quick scribble would probably do a lot more than sending more money to a lobbying organization.

You shouldn't *have* to thank people for doing the right thing, but it often works better than griping at them qhen they don't.

Amen TRX. If all they get is negativity when something comes up and threatening letters about voting them out, they are less likely to support us over time. People like to be recognized for a job well done. Even if it is they're job. An atta boy or atta girl goes a long way.
