Jeff Cooper liked it, too. Said it penetrated straighter than roundnose. There are some safari rifle bullets with flat points for that reason.
I remember reading about that sawn off OSI pistol in a Dean Grennell book. They must all have been scrapped, I have never seen one in the wild, even though the occasional General Officers' Pistol can be found.
Right. But I figure it was a gun problem with NATO members who expect us to supply them in case of conflict as we have done before. There are a lot of different 9mms out there and there were probably more back then before carbines had largely taken over from SMGs.
