ok, sure you might think it is overkill to put on a hand gun. well, i am in speed drawing and CCQ pistol compititons, so i need to have quick aim (it does the job perfectly)and even though i CAN point and shoot, but i miss 1/3 of the time like that. with this baby, i havent missed and i have won 3 first place, 7 secont place, and 4 third place in state speed drawing & 9 first place, 13 secont, and 7 third place in state CCQ, so that is proof that this realley works. ​

I am a little confused. He states that "the higest fps on ANY(REAL)GUN I HAVE SHOT IS 2200 FPS". What sort of loads do you guys think he's using in his .223 to get the velocity down that low?

Historically, it is the African record books that have given scientists the gauge to determine health, development and location of various species. Without those entries, scientists would be unable to determine what environmental changes have impacted upon the condition and survivability of a particular species. Scoring an animal and entering it into a record book provides a baseline over time that will indicate the quality of a healthy population of a given species as well as showing declines in viability.

When I have darted animals with scientists in Africa, one of the first things we do is take measurements, including the horns, and log those measurements for future reference. Nobody says you have to enter your animals in a record book, but if nobody had done so over the past 100 years, we would have a very limited knowledge base regarding the African species.

he says he hunted deer fromt he age 6-18 with a remmy 700 in .308 well they didnt introduce the 700 untill like 62 which would have made him 23 and the .308 was introduced in 52 which would have made him 13 so the caliber is the only thing with a time that would have worked

I've had more entertainment on this forum than i have had in awhile on the internet. That being said, you're right on Mr. Ashcraft (i know you don't need my approval, but it's always nice).
