I have one question... How accurate could I get my factory Savage 10FP with handloads?

So to answer this question, could you guys post your average 5 shot group size at 100 yards and what kind of rifle you have???

I'll start: I have 2 rifles 700vls .223, average 5 shot group is .75
Savage 10fp in .308, average 5 shot group is .7-.8

These are averages so obviously I have some groups that are quite small, like .2, and some that are 1.5".

How bout you?

I have a Savage 111 in 30-06 with a Nikon Prostaff 3x-9x X40 and on the average I would say it's around .7 or smaller. My handloads consist of Sierra 165 gr. Gamekings, 59 gr H4831 sc, CCI 200 primer and Federal brass for a velocity of 2700 fps.

i have three that are one hole punches, and i do mean one hole. cz in 223 , marlin mod 60. ( i know , sounds impossible) and a post ww2 parker hale 308 ultralite . i dont have any pics of the parker , but here are the others. these were both done on the same day , at 100 yds, with a 10 to 15 mph left to right wind. so you can imagine how much tighter that marlin would be at 100 yds, with light to no wind.

that mark above the black hills is not a bullet hole it is a pen mark i was about to write wind speed but scratched through it. it is a five shot group.
