Todd.
You're going to need a matching knife, one of these when they're back in stock.

;) I’m dating myself here. When I hear Carbine My mind just goes to M1 Carbine Caliber 30. Of which I’ve owned several. :)
No problem. With this match I am going to this weekend specifically it is a PCC (Pistol Caliber Carbine) match and it will be a combination of pistol caliber carbines (the overwhelming majority will be AR's chambered in 9mm) and rimfire carbines that will likely be a mix of 10/22's and a few AR's chambered or converted to 22LR. The gun in the OP is a DPMS dedicated 22LR upper on an old Bushmaster AR lower. The magazine is a 25rd Blackdog 22 LR magazine designed to fit a standard AR magazine well.

Got any that are pink? That there would be your best answer. When I get out the Savage with muddy girl camo NOBODY sticks around.

Have to be a real man to use pink. I'd thought about buying back my daughter's axis muddy girl camo 243, but she slid it before I talked to her about it. Thing about pink camo is that most men won't try and claim its theirs.

I know everyone is waiting with baited breath to hear which one my "friend" used.

It was easy to pick out from the rack. Good match, if small, fourteen shooters, 5 center fires, 9 rimfire. A lot of small falling steel in the stages, 3-6 inch rounds or square plates were common and a few larger plates and just a couple metric cardboard targets. For having shot nothing but PRS/NRL22 for the past two years the change of pace was nice, if slightly jarring. I manage to place 4th overall and 2nd in rimfire. Weather was beautiful and good people to shoot with.

If you were going to go to a carbine match this coming weekend to do battle with the hordes of cardboard zombies and savage steel targets which of the follow "masks" would you put on your AR's Fab-Defense Mojo magazine well? You know, to intimidate the targets and your fellow competitors. :D

Oh and I am asking for a friend as I would never put such tacky crap on one of my AR's
Have to protect your AR from covid. It's the only responsible thing to do.
Or. I don't have to wear a mask. My AR is.

I think they look tacky but do whatever helps you win.
Yea they are probably the epitome of tacky on an AR but sometimes being a little tacking is fun. :p No different than the brightly colored race guns you encounter at USPSA matches or similarly garishly painted guns at PRS/NRL22 rifle matches. Everyone knows, "Red ones go faster!"
