It has got my curiosity peaked. I have read many forums and most of the posts have been negative written by people who have never used it.

I am looking for the pros and cons from people who actually have used the machines.

I am not real interested in buying one at this point due primarily to the cost and longevity of the batteries. I am sure the next generation will vastly improve in those respects. The theory sounds very logical to me.

For now I'll hunt with the wind in my favor, but technology can't be knocked. Where would we be without smokeless powder and optics? There would be a lot less successful hunters out there.

Ozone does kill odors but is not odorless. Deer should not be alarmed by the smell. However ozone is very corrosive and should be used carefully. It can be used to descent clothes if used properly. I don't see how one could work in open air as you could not generate enough ozone to kill all scent before it disperses. If you could it could be very dangerous as ozone can kill small organisms and in even slight concentrations harm airways and lungs and other soft tissue like eyes. I have a real ozone machine, I doubt a battery one works. I would use one to remove scent from my clothes but it would not have any effect on new scent while charcoal or baking soda or chemical scent removers would. None are perfect though.
No harm in trying one as long as it is downwind and not close to your body especially your head or in air you could breath. I would like to know if it works but I am pretty skeptical.

Ozone also reacts with and breaks down all kinds of materials like rubber, plastic
Living tissue And even metal.

I bought a little ozone machine at Bass Pro...then cleaned out the room under my stairs. I hung all of my clothes and ran the ozone for a couple of days to descent them. Does it work? I don't know...you can sure tell the ozone is in there. I still did a load of laundry for the socks, undies, and base layer..and other odds and ends. It makes preparing for hunting weekend a lot easier, since all I do is 1 load of laundry and just hang the big stuff up.

I will not entertain the thought of buying the Ozonics unit anymore. The more I investigate it, the more I find out how unhealthy it is if you breath it. It is not worth the chance to me.

I was unable to locate the log 6 machine but I did purchase another model to de-scent my clothes.

Thank you for all your posts.
