The rest of my gun collection from page 2.

In spite of United Kingdom having very strict gun laws, we can still have lots to play with if you talk nice to Mr Policeman.

Impressive collections, all. Thanks for the insight into the laws of your respective countries. This is a very interesting thread!

Hi there.

Some of mine : (Time to take new pic.)

From the top:
Parker Hale 22/250
Mosin Nagant M91/30Pu 7,62x54r
Mosin Nagant M91/30 7,62x54r
Lee Enfield #4Mk1 303br. (My favourite)
Remington 22cal
Tos 22cal
Colt Oficial Police 38 spl (gone:()
High Standard 22cal
And few shotguns and a CZ75 TS not on the pic.

btw. The Colt OP. is sold :( ................But a new 9mm CZ-75 Tactical Sports filled its spot. (pic later) Pistols are few, far between, and expensive here in Iceland and something had to go to make some $$$$ for the CZ which I bought brand new from Danmark, couple of months ago.

Here one can have licence for 22cal bolt rifles and shotguns (except semi auto) at the age of 20. And a year later for bolt rifles up to 8mm and semi auto shotguns.
Handgun licence are really hard to get and then only for competition shooting and/or collecting.

Sorry, no pics now, but my stuff is

- a GLOCK 17
- a couple of 870 (police&express)
- a rossi 33 revolver 38 sp
- a CZ 97b
- a Ruger New vaquero 357
- an Anschutz 1416
- a Marlin 336

trying to get a mauser K98k....

My handgun collection

I have a total of 65 handguns from 22 to 455,reload all the calibres I have which gives me much satisfaction.Have just aquired cases at last for my Nambu`s 94 & 14,so I`m looking forward to trying them out soon.Half of my collection was donated by the German army 1945,as they didn`t need them anymore,We had to hand in the Spandaus & MP 40s back in 1997, was paid a very fair price for them too.but as long a we have good home security, you can enjoy having & using your collection. My only regret is that Im now in my middle 70s & want to keep on using them for at least another 100 yrs or so.Anyone know of any really good medicines.Kestral

Kestral ref UK Gun Laws

Thanks for your interest,No, we do not come under the UK,we have our own Govt,we are also not part of the EU.We are British subjects of the Queen of England, but not represented to or part of the UK Govt, having no MPs either in the UK or the EU.All our firearms are registered, and have to be kept in a secure place, which is inspected by our Police, but they are very reasonable & helpful towards shooters & collectors, but woe unto you if you let the side down, drink driving, petty crime of any sort etc & you lose your lic for life. They also like you to have a reasonably sized collection,as they know the value of a persons collection makes them think twice before risking losing them all over something stupid. We have 2 main pistol clubs,2 full bore & 1 22 rifle clubs, plus Skeet & Clay clubs, plus forom 1st Oct to end of Feb each year you can shoot rabbits on the cliffs or public land, which when you consider we are 8.5miles long by max 5 miles wide with 65,000 people is not bad going.regards Kestral.ps We were occupied by Germany June12th 1940 till May 9th 1945, thats where most of our guns came from.

instead of calling people foreign, why not call it "people outside the us" since thats what this thread is about right?

politics, a sensitive issue. and i envy the finnish. i think it was them that had silencers available over the counter.........

We have pretty lax gun laws in Luxembourg. There are almost no restrictions whatsoever.

Silvanus,

What are the laws around buying reloading supplies? And what type of powders etc can one get?
Will the shops ship to france?

Wow, very interesting thread. I especially appreciate some of the insight from our friends that live in countries with restrictive gun laws. Hopefully I can use some of what has been said to help get some of my gun owning friends motivated about politics and their rights.
