forend grip for the Maverick model 88

Is there a pistol type grip available for the Maverick model 88? **forend not rear**
I can't seem to find one anywhere if there is one available...Everyplace that has them says they will not fit the Mav.88...
Anyone know where to get one or is this impossible to find?

Short answer, no. The forend is riveted to the tube, so you can't change it out. BUT.. I'm not positive, but I think it is possible to replace the whole tube on a maverick with the 500 part.
