Are Mossy & Maverick parts compatible?

I came across a Maverick 88. Do pistol grips designed for a Mossy 500 fit the Mav? If not, does someone make one?

I just watched a video by Iraqveteran8888 yesterday on youtube about this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gr9_SYMmEmY&list=UUWJHDMgKWWvOsdyRF3HPVEw).

I was working on some other stuff while it was playing, but if I remember right he said the 88 and 500 were compatible from the receiver back. Like I said, I wasn't completely focused on the video so I've included the link if you want to double-check. I'm sure others will be along soon to provide more solid responses as well.

Everything but the receivers and trigger groups will interchange but some items like slide action tubes and bolt parts are guage specific.

I know the stocks interchange since I just finished swapping a pair. I believe the forearms are different.
