I very much enjoyed his posts and am very sad that he is gone. We were very lucky to have a nationally known writer contribute to this community. RIP D.Pris.

I will miss his posts, and the PM's with him over the years. He always told it as he saw it, never sugar coated it, and it behooved one to take any advice he gave.

Knowledgeable, kind, courteous, helpful, and an optimist. We could do with a lot more of that in the world and we miss it in our lives when people with it pass.

Honest and blunt to a fault. He had a gift for being able to call someone out on their errors or attitude without incurring rancor or further drama. His gun articles and reviews were some of the best in the business. We were blessed to have him here, for far too short a time.

I always enjoyed it when he entered a discussion. Straight shooter in more ways than one and very knowledgeable. Saddened to hear I won’t be hearing from him anymore.

I'll miss him. A source of good information. Honest. Not out to prove something to others or brag. Well mannered, courteous and no fool. A forum goer who you wanted to meet and sit down and talk with.

I "liked" the post, but I guess that term is inappropriate. He always had good posts. RIP Denis.

Denis seemed like the type to give more than he received. He was a straight-shooter, direct, and polite in our messages. The world needs more like him.
