I have been turned on to some good forums by THR people. So I want to make sure that new people benefit as well.

Hi, guys. I once chided a poster for having a whole thread about other forums. See that is taboo in some quarters.
One of the mods here told me that that is in fact OK.

Here are my favorite forums:

1. thehighroad.ORG and .US
2. bladeforums.com
3. ar15.com
4. candlepowerforums.com

m4carbine.net. Less of the tomfoolery that arfcom exhibits, IMHO, easier for me to get the info I am looking for.
lightfighter.net. Good place, good people, you will get chewed up if you try to BS them.

They won't and the zxcvbob would know that if he had bothered to read the OP.

IBTL ought to be one of the banned things here. It adds nothing to the discussion. All it does is run up the post count of those - I'll be nice here - who tend to make posts with the only content being IBTL... :mad:

I believe that it is, or maybe used to be. I know a good many members have received infractions for posting that.

And I'd be remiss if I didn't mention TheFiringLine forums. A great place to visit IMO.
I need to stop in at Colorado's AR15 forum more often too.

Mentioned many times in the evidently-unforeseen-before-this-thread-was-posted "mega thread" mentioned in post #4.
 
I'll try to help as best I can, but I'll break them down into a few lists. bold are the forums I'm actually on. italics are forums I hear good things about that I'm not on, and underlined ones are ones I have no idea about.

Can we try to keep all this in one thread? To my knowledge, no "what other forums" thread has appeared before the original thread, and it sure does suck to separate information. .

The OP of this thread obviously missed it, or he'd never have started this one.

I did read it. The "mega-thread" doesn't mention thehighroad.us, and this one does. (I'll let you draw your own conclusions why that might be significant)

Considering that there are a significant number of posters here that are also posters on the .us forum - not significant at all.
