Skip's Gun shop in Bristol, NH has a pretty darn impressive selection of rifles, and as for reloading supples, they have at least 30 different powders and a fairly decent selection of bullets.

They also have an on site gunsmith shop.

Gun prices were certainly higher than can be had on line, but not that outrageous. Reloading supplies were reasonable.

I've been in there once before and the clerk was happy to pull as many handguns out of the case as I wanted to see. He seemed to know his stuff as well.

So all I buy today is a box of bullets, and then I tell the cleark that I'm having a hard time finding an appropriate size soft lead ball/bullet to slug the barrel of a rifle I want to cast for. He takes off down to the 'reloading room' in the basement and comes back up five minutes later hand hands me an old paper hulled Winchester 00 buck 12 ga. shell, as the pellets are .32 cal. and should be just right for slugging my 7.62x39 barrel.

So I ask what I owe him and he smiles and says just come back and pay us a visit again some time.

:)

I read so much negative press about gun shops on this board that I figured I should tell some good news for a change.

If your up in the area, head north out of town on 3A and there on the left.
